Official BIArb Press Releases: Updates, Statements, and Announcements

Bangladesh International Arbitration (BIArb) is dedicated to advancing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) through transparency and innovation. Our official press releases deliver timely updates, statements, and announcements, keeping stakeholders informed about our initiatives to promote arbitration and mediation in Bangladesh and beyond.

In 2025, BIArb has made significant strides in enhancing ADR accessibility and expertise. We launched a series of advanced mediation workshops in June, designed to equip practitioners with skills to resolve complex commercial, family, and workplace disputes efficiently. These workshops align with the Arbitration Act, 2001, emphasizing ethical practices and fair outcomes. BIArb also forged a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka’s leading arbitration center in May, fostering cross-border collaboration to streamline trade dispute resolution, a critical step for regional economic growth.

Our commitment to innovation includes upgrading the BIArb Member Directory in April 2025 with advanced search tools, enabling clients to connect with qualified ADR professionals seamlessly. In March, we initiated a nationwide public campaign to raise awareness about ADR’s benefits, addressing the low adoption rates highlighted in recent studies. These efforts underscore BIArb’s role in reducing judicial backlogs and promoting cost-effective dispute resolution.
